PromptRivo
Privacy Policy
PromptRivo is a guest-first AI prompt optimization application. You can use the app without creating an account. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use PromptRivo.
1. Information you submit
When you request prompt enhancement, you voluntarily provide text such as an original prompt or edited enhanced result, details you add to improvement recommendations, instructions, the selected AI target, prompt depth, language, mode, and any additional instructions. In Pro Mode, this includes any Goal, Context, Audience, Role, Output type, Tone, Constraints, References, and Additional instructions you enter. Text may be typed or dictated using the optional iOS speech feature described in Section 8. This information is used to generate an optimized prompt.
2. Information stored on your device
Prompt history, generated results, favorites, language and theme preferences, onboarding state, and a temporary guest-session token are stored locally using application storage on your device. PromptRivo does not upload your saved history or favorites to its application database.
You can delete individual prompt records or clear prompt history in the app. Because favorites are part of the same prompt records, clearing history also removes favorites. You can also clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Removal and restoration may be affected by Android backup and restore behavior.
3. AI processing and transmission
When you explicitly request enhancement or further refinement, your selected text, pending recommendation details, and selected generation settings are transmitted securely to the PromptRivo backend hosted on Replit. The backend accesses its configured OpenAI models through Replit AI Integrations to check submitted content for safety and generate or refine a prompt. The mobile app connects to PromptRivo's backend, not directly to OpenAI. The AI target you select is a generation setting; it does not itself select a different processing provider. Replit and the configured AI service provider may process the submitted content and operational information as necessary to provide the service.
On iOS, before submitting each new valid enhancement or refinement that you initiate, PromptRivo shows an AI-sharing notice and requires you to choose "Allow and Enhance." Approval applies to that pending operation and is not remembered for future enhancement or refinement operations. The same approved request may be retried after refreshing a rejected guest-session token, without another consent notice. You can cancel before approval without submitting your text for AI processing. Dictation, editing text, or opening a recommendation does not by itself submit text for AI enhancement. An enhancement operation submits the selected content, not your entire saved history or favorites.
PromptRivo does not make guarantees about an external service provider's retention, deletion, or model-training practices beyond the terms and controls that apply to that provider.
4. Guest sessions, network data, and abuse prevention
PromptRivo uses a temporary pseudonymous guest identifier and processes network information, including a connection address, to issue guest sessions, prevent misuse, enforce usage limits, and protect service availability. Security records can include HMAC-based or hashed guest and network identifiers, usage counters, request time buckets, and temporary concurrency records.
Raw guest tokens and raw IP addresses are not intentionally stored in the PromptRivo PostgreSQL application database. Prompt contents and generated prompt results are also not intentionally stored in that database. Replit and other infrastructure providers may process network and operational metadata under their own applicable practices.
5. Logs and operational information
PromptRivo may process limited operational information such as request status, latency, error classification, and AI token-usage totals to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. PromptRivo's application logging is designed not to deliberately record prompt bodies, authorization tokens, cookies, or raw IP addresses. Hosting and AI service providers may maintain their own infrastructure or security logs.
6. Data retention
- Local app data: retained on your device until you delete records, clear history, clear app data, or uninstall, subject to Android backup and restore behavior.
- Guest token: valid for approximately 24 hours and replaced or removed during normal refresh or invalidation.
- Usage counters: short-lived security records; counters older than approximately two days are removed during routine admission cleanup.
- Concurrency records: normally removed after a request and expire after approximately 120 seconds.
- Submitted and generated prompt content: not intentionally retained in PromptRivo's PostgreSQL application database. Processing by Replit and the configured AI provider is subject to their applicable retention practices.
- Infrastructure information: retention of hosting, security, and provider logs is controlled by the relevant service provider.
- Speech audio and dictated text: PromptRivo does not persist speech audio files or send speech audio to its backend for recognition. Apple may process speech audio and related information as described in Section 8; Apple's applicable terms and settings govern that processing. Dictated text is editable text and, like typed text, may be included in local prompt history after a successful enhancement. If you submit it for AI enhancement, the existing submitted-content and provider-retention provisions apply.
7. Advertising, analytics, and tracking
PromptRivo currently uses no advertising SDKs, targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, or active analytics SDK. PromptRivo does not sell personal data.
8. Device permissions and data not collected
Where dictation is available on iOS, microphone access and speech recognition are optional. Each time you choose Dictate in Quick input, Pro Goal, or an improvement recommendation's details, PromptRivo first shows a speech-processing notice. If you choose Continue, it checks the applicable microphone and speech-recognition permissions and requests them if needed; iOS may not show a new permission dialog when permission has already been granted. You may decline and continue typing. PromptRivo does not start dictation merely because you open the app.
PromptRivo uses Apple's speech recognition to convert your voice into editable text. Recognition may occur on your device or involve sending audio and related information to Apple for processing, depending on your device, language, network availability, and Apple's service. Offline recognition is not guaranteed. Apple's processing is governed by its applicable privacy notices, terms, and device settings. PromptRivo does not make additional promises about Apple's retention, deletion, or training practices.
PromptRivo does not save dictation audio files or upload that audio to Replit or OpenAI. The resulting text can be edited or removed before you choose whether to request AI enhancement. Permission to use speech recognition is separate from permission to send text for AI enhancement.
Apart from this optional iOS microphone and speech-recognition functionality, PromptRivo does not access your contacts, camera, precise location, SMS, emails, calendar, payment data, or health data. The current Android release does not request microphone access for this feature. PromptRivo does not create user accounts.
9. Sharing you initiate
If you use the operating system's Share function, content is sent only to the application or recipient you explicitly select. The recipient's handling of that content is governed by its own privacy practices.
10. Service providers and international processing
PromptRivo relies on Replit for hosting, network infrastructure, managed database services, and AI integration services, and on the configured AI provider for prompt processing. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from your local laws.
If you use optional iOS dictation, Apple also processes speech-recognition information as described in Section 8.
11. Security
PromptRivo uses HTTPS encryption in transit, signed guest sessions, pseudonymous security identifiers, access controls, request limits, and limited application logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
12. Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit text for AI processing, delete individual local prompt records, clear local history and favorites, clear app data, or uninstall the app. PromptRivo has no user accounts or server-side prompt history to delete. For privacy questions or requests concerning information associated with the service, contact promptrivo@gmail.com. We may need reasonable information to understand and respond to a request, but you should not send passwords or sensitive credentials.
You may decline dictation, stop or cancel it, edit or remove dictated text, and continue using typed input. You can manage PromptRivo's microphone and speech-recognition permissions in iOS Settings. Dictation does not require you to approve an AI enhancement operation; you may separately decline it before submission. Deleting local text or history does not itself delete information already processed by a service provider under that provider's applicable practices.
13. Children
PromptRivo is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the service, contact us so the concern can be reviewed.
14. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to PromptRivo, its service providers, or legal requirements. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
