Privacy Policy

PromptRivo is a guest-first AI prompt optimization application. You can use the app without creating an account. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use PromptRivo.

1. Information you submit

When you request prompt enhancement or further refinement, you voluntarily provide text such as a rough prompt, your Pro Mode goal and other field details, additional instructions, edited results, selected improvement-recommendation details, and generation settings such as AI target, prompt depth, language and mode. Text may be typed or produced using optional speech-to-text, and can be reviewed and edited before submission. This information is used to generate or refine an optimized prompt. Starting dictation or receiving a transcript does not itself request AI enhancement.

2. Information stored on your device

Prompt history, generated results, favorites, language and theme preferences, onboarding state, and a temporary guest-session token are stored locally using application storage on your device. PromptRivo does not upload your saved history or favorites to its application database.

You can delete individual prompt records or clear prompt history in the app. Because favorites are part of the same prompt records, clearing history also removes favorites. You can also clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Removal and restoration may be affected by Android backup and restore behavior.

3. AI processing and transmission

When you explicitly request enhancement or further refinement, your submitted text and selected generation settings are transmitted securely over HTTPS to the PromptRivo backend hosted on Replit. The backend processes the request through Replit AI Integrations and the configured AI service provider to generate the response. These service providers may process the submitted content and operational information as necessary to provide the service. Reviewed or edited dictated text is handled like typed text when you submit it for AI enhancement. PromptRivo does not send speech audio to its backend or AI integration; speech recognition is a separate process described in Section 8.

PromptRivo does not make guarantees about an external service provider's retention, deletion, or model-training practices beyond the terms and controls that apply to that provider.

4. Guest sessions, network data, and abuse prevention

PromptRivo uses a temporary pseudonymous guest identifier and processes network information, including a connection address, to issue guest sessions, prevent misuse, enforce usage limits, and protect service availability. Security records can include HMAC-based or hashed guest and network identifiers, usage counters, request time buckets, and temporary concurrency records.

Raw guest tokens and raw IP addresses are not intentionally stored in the PromptRivo PostgreSQL application database. Prompt contents and generated prompt results are also not intentionally stored in that database. Replit and other infrastructure providers may process network and operational metadata under their own applicable practices.

5. Logs and operational information

PromptRivo may process limited operational information such as request status, latency, error classification, and AI token-usage totals to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. PromptRivo's application logging is designed not to deliberately record prompt bodies, authorization tokens, cookies, or raw IP addresses. Hosting and AI service providers may maintain their own infrastructure or security logs.

6. Data retention

• Local app data: retained on your device until you delete records, clear history, clear app data, or uninstall, subject to Android backup and restore behavior.
• Guest token: valid for approximately 24 hours and replaced or removed during normal refresh or invalidation.
• Usage counters: short-lived security records; counters older than approximately two days are removed during routine admission cleanup.
• Concurrency records: normally removed after a request and expire after approximately 120 seconds.
• Submitted and generated prompt content: not intentionally retained in PromptRivo's PostgreSQL application database. Processing by Replit and the configured AI provider is subject to their applicable retention practices.
• Infrastructure information: retention of hosting, security, and provider logs is controlled by the relevant service provider.
• Speech disclosure acknowledgment: a versioned acknowledgment is stored locally on your device so that the same disclosure need not be repeated on every microphone tap. A changed disclosure version or clearing app data can require acknowledgment again. This acknowledgment does not replace Android's microphone permission.
• Speech audio: PromptRivo disables audio-file persistence in its recognition configuration and does not create or retain speech audio files as app history or upload them to its backend. Audio processing or retention by the configured Android recognition service is governed by that provider's applicable practices; PromptRivo does not promise offline-only processing, zero provider retention, or exclusion from provider model training.
• Dictated text: finalized transcription is placed in the editable input. If you submit it for AI enhancement or save a resulting prompt record, the existing prompt-processing and local-history retention provisions apply.

7. Advertising, analytics, and tracking

PromptRivo currently uses no advertising SDKs, targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, or active analytics SDK. PromptRivo does not sell personal data.

8. Device permissions and data not collected

Microphone access is optional and used for speech-to-text on supported Android devices. Before microphone access, PromptRivo presents a speech privacy disclosure for explicit acknowledgment and checks Android microphone permission. You can decline and continue typing. After a valid acknowledgment, future deliberate microphone taps may proceed without repeating the same disclosure, but Android microphone permission and the app's foreground safety checks still apply. Acknowledgment or permission alone does not start recording.

The Android recognition service configured on your device converts your voice to editable text. Depending on the recognition service, device, language and network availability, audio may leave your device for processing by that recognition provider. Offline recognition is not guaranteed. The recognition provider may differ between devices and is not necessarily the service used by your keyboard. PromptRivo does not create audio recordings for storage or send speech audio to its own backend, Replit AI Integrations or its AI prompt provider.

You can stop or cancel dictation, edit the resulting text, or revoke microphone permission in Android Settings. PromptRivo cancels the active attempt when you leave the relevant screen or the app genuinely backgrounds. If the recognition service ends a session or the safety time limit is reached, another deliberate microphone tap is required; the app does not automatically restart dictation. Speech privacy information remains available in Settings.

As part of its current functionality, PromptRivo does not access your contacts, camera, precise location, SMS, emails, calendar, payment data or health data. PromptRivo does not create user accounts.

9. Sharing you initiate

If you use the operating system's Share function, content is sent only to the application or recipient you explicitly select. The recipient's handling of that content is governed by its own privacy practices.

10. Service providers and international processing

PromptRivo relies on Replit for hosting, network infrastructure, managed database services and AI integration services, and on the configured AI provider for prompt processing. Optional Android dictation also relies on the recognition service configured on your device, which may process speech audio using its own online services. That service's applicable privacy and retention practices govern its processing; PromptRivo does not control or independently verify all such practices. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from your local laws.

11. Security

PromptRivo uses HTTPS encryption in transit, signed guest sessions, pseudonymous security identifiers, access controls, request limits, and limited application logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

12. Your choices and requests

You can use typed input instead of dictation, decline microphone permission, stop or cancel dictation, revoke microphone permission through Android Settings, and review or edit dictated text before requesting AI enhancement. You can choose not to submit text for AI processing, delete individual local prompt records, clear local history and favorites, clear app data, or uninstall the app. PromptRivo has no user accounts or server-side prompt history to delete. We may need reasonable information to understand and respond to a request, but you should not send passwords or sensitive credentials.

13. Children

PromptRivo is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the service, contact us so the concern can be reviewed.

14. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to PromptRivo, its service providers, or legal requirements. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
